We had a great labor day weekend! We went up to Portland on Friday. My friend Danelle threw me a FANTASTIC baby shower on Saturday! I tell ya, this little one is so lucky to have so many people that love and care about him. It was so nice to see friends and family, to laugh and to think about this amazing little miracle on his way! We are even more excited now to meet the little guy!! The pics above show the great time! Thanks Dani and all for making it such a special day.
On Sunday we went up to Seattle to visit Grandma Edwards, and we were also able to see Aunt Marcella, Uncle Bud and their daughter Denise, son in law Ron and their daughters Katie and Rachel. We hadn't seen them since our wedding 5 years ago, so it was great to see them! We played games and had a great time catching up. Afterwards we went to Uncle Pat & Aunt Donna's for a great dinner and visit with them and Karen, Kevin and Erin. Erin is absolutely adorable! Karen is also expecting, so it was fun to swap stories with her.
Now we are back home and getting ready for the week. We are pretty much staying put until the baby gets here--nesting, I guess! I am excited to put the finishing touches on the baby room and continue to prepare for him to join us.
