Like father like son
We had a great day today! I made a big breakfast and we lounged around this morning. We did an 8 mile run/walk yesterday, so we were both pretty sore and wanted to take it easy. Asher was a lot of fun today trying to show us his "crawling" skills, which is really a lot of rolling around and somehow making his way across the room. His new thing (we discovered yesterday at Juliann's birthday party...) is SCREAMING of joy. It is the highest pitch scream you have ever heard, with the cutest little smile. I don't know who (or what) he is trying to communicate with in that voice, but man it could wake the neighborhood...it was funny at first, now it just hurts our ears! I am sure that this, too, will pass soon!
So, I think Kevin enjoyed his day relaxin'. We went over to see all the new shops over at the Marina that opened up on Thursday. It was packed with people and nice that we have this great little shopping area walking distance from our house now!
Asher is sleeping and I may follow him soon. I picked up a bad cough this weekend and hope it doesn't turn into anything worse!
Hope all the dads out there had a great day too! I certainly am married to a FANTASTIC man who is a great daddy ;)
