Yep! Asher is now 6 months (and a day!). He is doing great. He is such a happy boy--except when we are trying to get him to nap. We are working on that!

I had a great first mother's day. Kevin and Asher made me breakfast in bed, bought me flowers and chocolates and they both wrote me very nice cards ;) Asher is so smart already! We went to the Arts in Bloom festival down at the Sparks Marina, which is walking distance from our house. It was a GORGEOUS day--80 degrees and a slight wind. It was so fun to celebrate Mother's Day as a MOM!!

Now that Asher is 6 months old, we are going full force with the "solid" foods. As you can see from the video he wasn't really into the cereal, but yesterday I added some banana to it and he couldn't get enough! Today we had some adventures with avacados....he promptly went for a wash when he was done! Tonight Kevin and I made homemade porridge and sweet potatoes. He has been sleeping very soundly for almost 2 hours, so I think he may have a tummy full!

We are very busy around here, but loving every minute of everything. Both Kevin and I are enjoying him being home--Asher too. We are looking forward to the summertime--enjoying a few trips, hiking in Tahoe, starting a garden.....and watching Asher learn to crawl!
