Our Boy is getting BIGGER!

I can't believe it has been a few weeks since I have been able to post. Life is full of fun right now--especially with Asher! He will be 6 months in a week--hard to believe.

Kevin is doing fabulous as "Mr. Mom". He starting week 4 right now and has adjusted really well. The first week was a hard transition for everyone, but smooth sailing now. I enjoy going home everyday at lunch to feed Asher and get all the updates from Kevin during the day. I love going home and having Asher kick his feet in joy to see me--and knowing that Kev is giving him the best care imaginable!

Right now we are in another transition stage--moving him to his room and crib! It is a challenge, but we are bound and determined to do this in the most gentle way possible! Sleepless nights ahead, but FULL nights of sleep in the near future. I know this is one of the more "controversial" transitions--do we let him cry, do we pick him up, do we bring him to bed with us?? I don't really think that there is a right answer other than to follow your heart and instinct. It is really amazing how innate parenting can be. Asher knows he is loved and cared for, which is the MOST important part of parenting.

Since it is almost Mother's Day I posted this pic. LOVE it! Dennis is going to take some of Asher on the 16th for his 6 month shot. I hope to get a few more family shots and one of Kev and Asher too. It is so fun to have a friend that is a photographer and wants to "practice" on you!

Hope everyone is well. It has looked like Oregon here the past 4 days, which was actually quite nice (love the rain!)... but it is suppose to be sunny and in the 70's by the end of the week. I hope it is a nice weekend coming up so we can get outside! Kevin has planted some grass in the bare spots and fixed up the sprinklers to be powerful again :)

Have a great week!
