For some reason we decided that it was time to introduce Asher to paints. We put him in the high chair, painted a whole canvas and then put paint on his hand, rubbed them together and let him have at it. It was fun to watch him go for it, although at the end he was ready to be done. I think he was upset that we weren't FEEDING him in the high chair ;) Speaking of food, he is doing really great with his solids. He LOVES fruit--especially bananas, bu the other night he chomped down a huge bowl of cottage cheese, spinach and carrot. It looked so gross, but he ate it all. We are still making most of his food, but have tried a few of the jars when we are out and about and he likes those too. I am really anxious to get his weight next month at his appointment.
Asher is now officially "into everything". Leave him for a second and he is off on an adventure to see what he can find. This morning while I was making coffee he got into the cupboard and was taking out the baking pans...was that a hint?
We have been trying to hit up as much of the Artown stuff as we could. Last night we went downtown for a while to catch some music and art performances. We HAD to take a pic of Asher is the little horns--our little Thor, so big already!
We are gearing up for a busy, busy August. Trips to San Fran, Yosemite and visitors! Kev will be back in school before we know it ;(
