YES! I am actually updating the blog!
We had an AMAZING Christmas and New Years. We spent Xmas in Nebraska with my mom, brother and his family. My nephew, Cade, is 2 and a half and so much fun! He was so excited for Santa and such a "big boy"--in size and attitude! We were snowed in the entire time, so we spent the time together eating, playing games, eating, catching up, eating, watching movies....did I mention eating? Lyndsy was prepared with so many great meals!
After a great time in the snow, we went down to the sunshine of Arizona. My dearest college girlfriends were there with their families. We had SO much fun. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. We now have 10 years of friendship and history--and it shows.
Then Ryan, Holly and Zane flew down to meet up with us and Russ. We had a blast despite the little cold that Asher picked up along the way. Russ made us a nice Christmas dinner, we were able to spend quality time together. Zane is the sweetest little boy! He is totally into trucks and cars and was easy to share with Asher. We enjoyed time in the hot tub--especially Asher! It was his first time in the "pool" and it really wore him out!
Now we are home, rested and back to the daily grind! We enjoyed the vacation and seeing so many loved ones, but it is also nice to be home in our own beds!
We are really looking forward to 2010 and all that it will bring....many exciting things in store!
