YES! Our baby is 1. I can hardly believe it.
We had a wonderful celebration on the 7th. Asher is VERY loved! He had Great Grandma C, Grandma Bobby, Grandma Mary Ellen, Aunt Carolyn and Kim fly in from Oregon, Molly from San Diego, Auntie Cathy from Arizona and Auntie Lyndsy from Nebraska! Jordan and Emily are back in Reno, so they celebrated with us too! So much fun. The theme was "flying astronaut" because that is always what Kevin says Asher will be when he grows up ;)
Asher is doing very well. He is incredibly close to walking. I am sure by Christmas he will be walking all over the place. He gets so close, then decides it is just easier to get down and crawl.
I would say that his first official word has been "dog". He seems to know a dog when he sees one and shouts "Dawg"! He loves to watch Mattie and Zoey..... He does his "mamamamamama" and "dadadadada" stuff too.
We are enjoying staying home together on Tuesdays and Fridays now. He still loves his school, and they love him. I am also really enjoying my new job! Life is good...
As we are so close to Thanksgiving, it is time to reflect on all that we are thankful for. We are thankful for our family, friends, our health and the house over our heads. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday!
