....Yes, we are THRILLED about the result last night. I have tried to keep politics off our blog, but it is no secret how involved Kevin and I have been with this election. That win last night means so much to us--and now you can all rest assured that we will continue to live in the States and not have to move out of the country with Thor! So, we are Fired Up and ready to make this country better for the future of our children.
We are also fired up and ready to have this baby!! With the election now over, we will have some more free time on our hands (we were knocking on doors until 6pm last night to get out the vote!). The baby room should be finished this weekend and we have pretty much everything that we need for when he arrives--just need some more diapers :) We are doing cloth diapers, so I am ordering a few different types to see what we like the best before I invest in 30 of one type....so we need to wait for him to arrive to do some testing. Kev is very excited about that!
The belly is beginning to "drop"....he is preparing for his arrival. It is so interesting to see my body change daily. Crazy how nature works. We finished our hypno-birthing classes and are feeling more and more confident about our drug-free, natural birth. Kevin is feeling a lot better about it too, because the partner plays such an important role in hypno birthing and he is ready! (FYI--hypno birthing doesn't mean I will be hypnotized...just in a really relaxed state. It is a really interesting theory on child birth. I will let you know how it turns out!)
Hope everyone is doing well! We will continue to keep you posted on the baby's progress. We have an appointment on Tuesday. At my last appointment the Dr. thought I would go full term--I am still praying for that!
