Where did the summer go?! I absolutely cannot believe that it has been over 2 months since I have blogged. Life is just zipping right past us....here is an update on the fam:
Asher is doing FANTASTIC. He has such a great summer with Kevin and is really enjoying the Goddard School. His teachers love him (of course) and he is already very "social". I think we have a very busy bee on our hands. He is eating really well and FINALLY is to the point where we have a nice bedtime routine. He plays all night, takes a bath, we read a book, put him in his crib, say "night night" and then he is off to swet dreams for 10-11 hours. It is such bliss! I think that school really tires him out:) He is a crawling machine, but also likes to be standing. I think he will be walking by his first birthday--or really close to it!
Kevin LOVES his new school. He is the only male teacher in the entire school, but that isn't totally out of the norm--he is used to working with a bunch of females! His students are really nice and it is great that the school is right down the road. He is doing well with his MBA--all A's so far! He will be done next August. He has class twice a week right now and is working hard to do well and get it done in a reasonable amount of time.
I am officially working for myself now! I started ACE Nonprofit Consulting, landed my first big client and am off and running. I love the challenge of being my own boss and working with several organizations to help them succeed. It is also allowing me more flexibility with Asher, which is great. For October, he will stay in school full time, then we will go down to 2 or 3 days next month--depends on how busy I am and how well he is doing in school.
So, everything is going well with the Edwards fam. Super busy, but I can't imagine it any other way. We are really looking forward to all of the exciting adventures we have left in 2009--Halloween, Asher's first Birthday (WOW!),the holidays....life is really great!

He's just SO beautiful! What a total doll. I wish we lived even closer so I could make a fun first birthday cake for him! Can't wait to see Halloween, birthday and thanksgiving pic's. Good luck with the new job!
